In January 2018, a distinguished international committee of experts convened for a three-day meeting to review the ICTS. The committee, which was chaired by Curtis Callan (Princeton University), comprised Beverly Berger (NSF retired), Bertrand Halperin (Harvard University), Itamar Procaccia (Weizmann Institute), Kavita Ramanan (Brown University), and Ashoke Sen (then at Harish–Chandra Research Institute, Allahabad).
