Discussion Meeting
Prithwijit De (HBCSE-TIFR, India) and Pranav Pandit (ICTS - TIFR, India)
04 November 2022 to 07 November 2022
Madhava Lecture Hall

The camp aims to discuss challenging mathematical problems at the pre-olympiad and olympiad level and thereby expose the teachers to mathematical problem solving beyond the school curriculum. The International Mathematical Olympiad is a movement for school students. The national Olympiad programmes globally have aimed at not just the international event, but also as national channels to enrich school educational curriculum. Even beyond the scope of the examinations, Olympiad problems provide intellectual stimulus and uncommon opportunities for teaching and learning of Mathematics.

Selected participants will be reimbursed to and fro travel fares as per their entitlement (maximum II-AC train fare). Food and accommodation in the ICTS Guest House will be provided to all participants.

ICTS is committed to building an environment that is inclusive, non-discriminatory, and welcoming of diverse individuals. We especially encourage the participation of women and other under-represented groups.
