Science outreach in schools

DIY toys made with everyday objects and materials are used to demonstrate science concepts to school students. The aim of this activity is to inculcate logical, creative thinking and encourage the students to come up with innovative experiments with day to day material. Such hands-on activity will dispel the fear of science and math among students, allowing for more fun and engaging way of learning, and perhaps consider scientific research as a career at a later stage.

We visit the schools near to ICTS once a month.

How volunteers could contribute

  1. Make toys with everyday objects or material to demonstrate a science concept.

  2. Visit to the school with the ICTS team for the session. Science enthusiasts, who speak kannada are encouraged to contact us.
