Research Interests
Research interests are broadly in the theoretical and numerical analysis of partial differential equations as well as their applications. My recent interests include the intersection of dynamical systems and data science.
Research interests specifically focus on understanding the fluid dynamics of the world's oceans. I study energy transfers across disparate spatio-temporal scales, tracer dispersion, and dispersive-wave dynamics in turbulent geophysical flows. I use a combination of applied mathematical techniques and numerical simulations for my work.
Research interests lie in the analysis of differential equations and applications to control problems. Additionally fluid-structure interaction problems, such as blood flow models, are also of interest to the group. We focus on understanding weak solutions of the coupled system that models the movement of a rigid body inside a fluid where the fluid may be either compressible or incompressible.
Research interests include Stochastic Analysis (Stochastic Partial Differential Equations and Stochastic Differential Equations), Random walks among mobile traps, Random Graphs, Tree-valued Processes, and Computational Epidemiology.
