The International Centre for Theoretical Sciences (ICTS) of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), a premier research centre (an Autonomous, Grant-in-Aid Institution of the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India), invites highly motivated and self-driven individuals for a walk-in recruitment for the post of Project Research Assistant to work on a project ‘Indian Monsoon’ at its Bangalore office. Job Profile: The project offers excellent opportunities for fundamental research. The study will be computational and theoretical, and will involve the use of Markov Random Fields to obtain patterns in physical quantities relevant to the Indian monsoon. The ideal project assistant will be extremely strong academically, especially in mathematics and scientific computation.
Tenure: One Year
Salary: Salary will be commensurate with the candidate's experience, qualification, potential and according to the Centre’s norms. The selected candidate will be required to join immediately.
