ICTS faculty member Anupam Kundu has received the SERB MATRICS grant. The SERB MATRICS grants are given by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, for research in theoretical sciences for a period of three years.
Anupam’s research focusses on understanding statistical properties of equilibrium and non-equilibrium systems. The grant will support his new project titled ‘Dynamics of Active Particles at Individual and Collective Level,’ which aims to understand spatio-temporal properties of the trajectories of single or multiple active particles and establish effective macroscopic evolution when they are interacting.
