1. Project Administrative Officer C
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Graduate from a recognized University/Institute with aggregate of 60% marks.
- Diploma/Degree/Certificate course in Management or Administration from a recognised
University/Institute. - Knowledge of use of personal computers and its applications.
- 5 years service in Level 6 and /or Level 7 and /or Level 8 or with equivalent TME (total monthly emolument).
Age - Maximum 40 years (Age relaxation as per rules)
Job Profile:
- Handling general administrative work of the Centre including maintenance of the personnel records of all employees and their general welfare; rendering administrative support to various events and activities of the Centre; compiling periodic reports about these activities as well as hiring, performance management and professional development of staff.
- Rendering administrative support to management and various committees of the Centre
- Liaising with various offices, TIFR Centres, DAE, State and Central Government offices, local organisations, funding agencies as may be required from time to time
- The person should have a good flair for organizing activities and coordinating with several different agencies. Excellent spoken and written English and a keen eye for detail are highly desirable.
- Any other task assigned by the Centre Director from time to time.
Desirable Skills
- Work experience in dealing with administrative matters viz. Government of India rules & procedures, in a medium /large sized organization, preferably an academic/research institution
- Proficient in MS applications e.g MS excel, MS word etc
2. Project Scientific Officer B (Center Director’s Office)
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Full Time Masters degree in Science (from a recognized University/Institute with aggregate of 60% marks) in relevant subject/discipline.
OR
- Full Time Degree in Engineering (B.E. / B. Tech) (from a recognized University/Institute with aggregate of 60% marks) in relevant subject/discipline.
- 2 years’ experience in a similar job profile.
Age - Maximum 28 years (Age relaxation as per rules)
Job Profile:
- Handling day-to-day administration of the office of the Center Director
- Compiling periodic reports and presentations about activities of the Centre. Proofreading and collating data for ICTS brochure, activity report, IAB report, endowment reports, coordinating for MoU’s, assisting in scientific proposals for DAE.
- Maintaining the database of confidential information, reports, correspondence, managing the files of permanent employees. etc,
- Maintaining the Center Director's calendar, including travel and visits and allied works, his visit arrangements, DQ bookings, attending to visitors, drafting invitations for ICTS associates and IAB members, updating their webpages.
- Meeting arrangements and preparing minutes of management board meeting, appointment committee meeting, senior faculty, faculty and staff meeting
- Any other task assigned by the Center Director from time to time.
3. Project Junior Engineer B (Electrical)
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Full time Diploma in Engineering (from a recognized University/Institute with aggregate of 60% marks) in relevant discipline[Electrical Engineering].
- Knowledge of use of personal computers and its applications.
- 2 years experience in a similar job profile.

Job Profile:
- Responsible for electricals operation, scheduled maintenance, breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting
- Supervising Project operation & maintenance, planning project work , quality analysis & checking, preparing estimations, project measurement, CAD drawing
- Training colleagues and AMC employees, AMC and project management with the vendor, electrical safety check, data logging, electrical store management.
- Any other task assigned by the Section Incharge.

6. Tradesman B (Temporary) - Civil Plumbing

Job Profile: Candidate should be conversant with maintenance of electrical installations, laying cabling for new power points, operation of electrical switchgears in the sub-station, maintenance of electrical motors etc.

1. All the above posts are tenable at ICTS, Bangalore
2. Appointments for the above posts at Sr. 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 will be initially for one year which may be extended depending upon the individual’s performance and the requirements of the Centre. The selected candidate(s) will be required to join immediately.
3. Appointments for the above posts at Sr. 6 & 7 will be initially for six months which may be extended upto 1 year maximum depending upon the individual’s performance and the requirements of the Centre. Selected candidate(s) will be required to join immediately.
4. Prescribed age should not exceed as on January 1, 2021 for the above post.

Transport arrangement: Candidates may use the ICTS shuttle which will be parked outside the IISc gate (opposite BHEL). The shuttle will leave the pickup point at 8.45 am.

COVID Guidelines for the recruitment process:-
1. Candidates should mandatorily submit self-declaration about COVID's negative status of self and family at the gate, failing which he/ she will not be permitted to enter the ICTS campus.
2. Candidates under the following category will not be permitted to enter:-
a. diagnosed with and/or undergoing treatment for COVID-19
b. have been in close proximity and/or personal contact with someone with a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19
c. Aarogya Setu App status other than Low Risk/Safe
d. having flu-like symptoms in the last fourteen days, including fever, chills, cough, sore
throat, shortness of breath, loss of smell/taste, or any other symptom related to
COVID-19
e. have not been under fourteen day's home institutional quarantine or centralized
observations demanded by government and healthcare authorities on the recruitment day
f. staying in the containment zone
3. It is mandatory to undergo thermal scanning and SPO2 test before entering the ICTS campus. Candidates with high temperatures or other symptoms of COVID-19 will not be permitted to enter the ICTS campus and participate in the recruitment process.
4. Candidates coming by interstate travel/ interdistrict travel will not be permitted to enter with a valid RT-PCR negative report done within 72 hours of the recruitment date
5. Candidates should maintain social distancing while commuting to and from the ICTS campus and from the time of entry till the exit from the campus.
6. Candidates should carry a hand-sanitizer of up to 50 ml, a face mask, gloves, food and a water bottle for personal use.
7. Candidates should not share personal items like masks, gloves, water bottles, etc.
8. It is mandatory to wear a face mask properly at all times, while on campus. The candidates are not allowed to roam around the campus.
9. Candidates should wash their hands/ use hand sanitizer before entering the examination venue.
10. Installation of Aarogya Setu app is mandatory. Candidates have to show the Aarogya Setu APP status Green (Low risk/ Safe) for entering the campus.
11. Candidates should maintain social distancing and stay more than 6 feet away from other people at all times on the campus.
