Essential Qualifications & Experience:

- 5 years’ experience in Accounts in a large and reputed organization.

Desirable Skills:
- Post Graduate in commerce or higher qualification in the same stream will be preferred.

Job Profile: (Accounts)
- Preparing monthly salary acquittance roll and disbursement.
- Remittance of professional tax, TDS, NPS, TDS under GST and other statutory dues, return filing for TDS under income tax and GST, reconciliation and issuing certificates.
- Processing contingency grants/ book grants, LTC advance and EL Encashment payments, remittance/ recoveries of PF, GLIS, LIC/ Mediclaim, retirement benefits.
- Liaising with the bank for LC, bank guarantee, import documents, foreign payments & receipts.
- Processing bills, assisting in the preparation of financial statements and statutory audits.
- Preparing the statement of expenditure and utilisation certificates for the plan, non-plan and extramural grants.
- Processing purchase orders, service orders, lease payment, reimbursement claims, checking comparative statements & fund commitments

Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Graduate from a recognised University /Institute with aggregate of 60% marks and Graduate or Post Graduate in Library/Information Science (with aggregate of 60% marks).
- Knowledge of use of personal computers and its applications.
- 2 years experience as per the requirement of the Section / Department.

Desirable Skills:
- Experience in using the Linux operating system is preferred.
Job Profile: (Library)
- Analyzing scientific requirements, processing library books, journals, organizing library materials, managing e-resources, and new arrival displays.
- Managing new procurements, library user’s needs, maintaining software, hardware related to library, preparing library budget and reports.
- Updating and maintaining library pages, working on library modules, archiving newspaper clippings, program posters, handling annual verification.

Job Profile: (Establishment/General Administration)
- Handling joining and exit formalities, assist in the recruitment process of the center, managing attendance and leave records, payroll management, data feeding in the ERP software
- Updating the personal files, maintaining office indexes, office orders, preparing various letters and correspondences, drafting advertisements.
- Managing DAE and FRRO formalities of foreigners, coordinating for MEA clearance.
- Providing logistical support for the graduate admissions, academic visitors. Handling the academic affairs of the graduate program.
- Maintaining registration form, participant list, handling the logistical requirements of the academic/program visitors, handling queries and assisting in reports.

Job Profile: (Electrical)
Experience in the field of installation, testing, commissioning, operation and maintenance of LT/HT electrical equipment and wiring installations including street lighting, etc., troubleshooting and fixing electrical problems in a single/three phase supply system having various colour codes and its proper identification.

Job Profile: (Civil Plumbing)
Experience in the work for maintenance/construction of residential buildings and public buildings at various locations and heights. Fix, repair and maintain all Public Health related works such as G.I., C.I, PVC, stoneware pipes, CP fittings, sanitary ware works, etc, and all Public Health related works.
Desirable:
The candidate should possess good health and will be required to assist senior technicians.

General Information:
- All the above posts are tenable at ICTS, Bangalore
- Benefits under TIFR Service:
- These posts carry usual allowances i.e. Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance(HRA), Transport Allowance (TA) etc. as admissible to the Central Government employees stationed in Bangalore and as made applicable to TIFR.
- In addition to the emoluments indicated against the posts, benefits such as reimbursement of medical expenses, leave travel concession, conveyance advance and house building advance etc. are available as per rules of TIFR.
- The qualifications prescribed should have been obtained from recognized university/institution/boards.Wherever grades are awarded by Universities/Institutes in CGPA/SGPA/OGPA etc. system, candidates are requested to convert the same into percentage based on the formula adopted by the University/Institute and mention the percentage at the appropriate column in the application form.
- Selected candidates for all these posts are liable to be transferred to other Centers/Field Stations of the Institute, if required.
- Selected candidates for the above posts at Sr. Nos. 5 & 6 may be required to work round the clock shift duties.
- Higher starting salary could be considered for deserving candidates for all these posts.
- Appointment for the above posts at Sr. Nos. 2, 5, 6 will be initially for a period of three years, including a probation period of one year. Continuing appointment beyond probation and the initial period of appointment will be subject to the results of a probation review after one year, comprehensive review after initial term and performance appraisal. After successful reviews, the appointment is continued till superannuation age, which is sixty.
- Appointment for the above posts at Sr. Nos. 1, 3, 4 will be for an initial period of one year. Continuing appointment beyond the initial period will be subject to the results of a comprehensive probation review and performance appraisal. After successful review, the appointment is continued till superannuation age, which is sixty.
- Prescribed age should not exceed as on January 1, 2022 for the above posts.
- Selected candidates for the above posts will be governed by the National Pension System applicable to the Central Government service [unless she/he is already governed by CCS (Pension) Rules1972].

- The candidates are required to produce the following original documents with copies at the time of recruitment process:

- OBC candidates should submit a valid copy of the Non-creamy Layer certificate issued by competent authority in the Govt. of India format. The OBC Non Creamy Layer certificate in GOI format should be preferably for the current financial year on the date of closing of application or utmost not earlier than one year from the date of closing of application.
- Candidates applying for the post reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disability should be suffering from not less than 40% of the relevant disability for the benefit of reservations. Candidates will have to submit a Disability Certificate issued by the competent authority in the prescribed format.
