1. Technical Trainee - Audio Visual (AV)
Essential Qualifications:
-
Science Graduate from a recognized University/Institute
OR
Diploma in Engineering Computer Science (CS), Information Science (IS), Electronics & Communication (EC), Information Technology (IT), Audio Visual(AV), Cinematography (CN), Sound Recording (SR), Computer Hardware and Networking and equivalent.
Experience:
-
Freshers with relevant skills preferred
Nature of training:
-
Setting up the sound and video equipment
-
Operations of AV equipment/devices i.e. microphones, sound speakers, projectors, stage lights, video monitoring, recording equipment, basic video editing, connecting wires, and cables.

Hybrid VC setup and handling for meetings and events.
2. Project Clerk (Accounts)
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
-
Graduate from a recognised University/Institute with an aggregate of 50% marks.
-
Knowledge of typing.
-
Knowledge of use of personal computers and applications – supported by certificates from the institutions.
-
Minimum 1 year experience in clerical duties and correspondence in large and reputed organisation.
Desirable:
-
B.Com/BBA (Finance) graduates are preferred.
-
Fluent in spoken & written English.
-
Knowledge of Tally software, SAP, Excel and Google sheets.
-
Knowledge of TDS under income tax & GST law, foreign exchange transactions and GOI rules.
Job Profile:
-
Processing and recording of bills/claims related to various activities of the center.
-
Maintenance of Accounts and budget pertaining to various activities including preparation of Statement of Expenditure (SOE) and Utilization Certificate(UC).
-
Payment of Tour advance/Deputation advance and settlement of TA/DA Claims and deputation claims. Maintenance of Tour advance/ Deputation advance registers.
-
Accounting for TDS under income tax & GST law and assisting in TDS payment & filing.
-
Assisting in the finalisation of Accounts & preparation of schedules of financial statements for statutory audit.
3. Project Clerk (Purchase & Stores)
Essential Qualifications & Experience:

Graduate from a recognised University/Institute with an aggregate of 50% marks.

Knowledge of typing.

Knowledge of use of personal computers and applications – supported by certificates from the institutions.

Minimum 1 year experience in clerical duties and correspondence in large and reputed organisation.

Job Profile:
This job involves providing administrative support for all the purchase/stores related tasks of the Centre. This broadly includes the following functions:-

Processing indents and floating enquiries, preparing comparative statement, coordinating with bidders for clarifications

Preparation of purchase orders and amendments, follow-up with vendors for supply of materials and bills, coordinate for payment
-
Maintaining the purchase/work order files, report generation from TIIS, providing inputs for various financial reports
-
Receipt of materials, classification and issue, preparing goods received note, stores arrival intimation, handling stock verification, maintaining stock register
-
Procuring stationeries, handling cash purchases and maintaining records
-
Maintaining asset register, fixing accession numbers, arranging annual asset verification, preparing gate pass and data feeding in Datanet
-
Any other task assigned by the Section Incharge.
4. Project Scientific Officer C (Centre Director’s Office)
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
-
Full Time Masters degree in Science (from a recognized University/Institute with aggregate of 60% marks).
OR
-
Full Time Degree in Engineering (B.E. / B. Tech) (from a recognized University/Institute with aggregate of 60% marks).
-
2 years’ experience in a similar job profile.
Job Profile:
-
Handling day-to-day administration of the office of the Center Director
-
Compiling periodic reports and presentations about activities of the Centre. Proofreading and collating data for ICTS brochure, activity report, International Advisory Board (IAB) report, endowment reports, coordinating for Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs), assisting in scientific proposals for DAE.

Maintaining the database of confidential information, reports, correspondence, managing the files of permanent employees. etc,
-
Maintaining the Center Director's calendar, including travel and visits and allied works, his visit arrangements, Director Quota accommodation bookings, attending to visitors, drafting invitations for ICTS associates and IAB members, updating their webpages.

Meeting arrangements and preparing minutes of management board meeting, appointment committee meeting, senior faculty, faculty and staff meeting
-
Any other task assigned by the Center Director from time to time.
General Instructions:

All the above posts are tenable at ICTS, Bangalore.

Appointments for the above post at Sr. No. 1 will be initially for 06 (six) months which may be extended up to 01 (One) year depending upon the individual’s performance and the requirements of the Centre. The tenure, however, could be extended for another year if felt necessary after review and the requirement of the center.
This trainee scheme is purely a facility for on-job training provided to individuals. Selected candidate(s) will be required to join immediately. Trainees would not have any claim for any permanent or temporary appointment in the institute either during or after the training period.
No reservation would be applicable as this is purely a training scheme.
