International Centre for Theoretical Sciences (ICTS) of TIFR is looking for a highly motivated, self driven individual for the post of Project Assistant Administration at the Mumbai office. The contract will be initially for a period of six months and may be extended further depending on performance and requirement of the centre.
Essential Qualification & Experience:
# Graduate degree (preferably in Science or Commerce) from a recognised university with minimum of 60% marks
# Familiarity with computers, internet and Microsoft office applications and other office ERP packages
# Minimum one year of work experience in a medium /large sized organisation preferably an academic/research institution
Job Profile:
This job involves providing administrative support for all the activities of the Centre. This includes : administrative tasks for academic activities including booking of air/rail tickets, documentation for visitors visas, accomodation for participants, catering arrangments, local transport arrangments, distribution of posters, travel reimbursement procedures and all other logistic arrangments. This job also invloves co-ordination with vendors for purchase of office equipments, booking of appointments for meetings, maintaining inventory records, maintaining records of all inward/outward mails, drafting of letters, notes and monitoring and maintaining of Budget Accounts with submission of accurate monthly information reports. Any other task assigned by the Director.
Age: under 30 years.
Tenure: Initial appointment will be for six months which may be extended depending upon performance and requirement of the centre.
Location: Mumbai
Salary will be commensurate with the candidate's experience, qualification and potential. The selected candidate will be required to join immediately.
