My current research interest is in numerical investigations of dry active matter. Here, I have studied aspects such as rectification, effect of activity on membranes and local entropy production. I am also studying shape transitions in equilibrated elastic surfaces and ribbons.

Previously, I have worked on a variety of problems such as the phase transition in the tail-sheath of T4 bacteriophage, compression stiffening in cells, folds in the cerebellum and strain-induced rigidity transitions in polygonal loops.
