Research summary: My work has focussed on the longstanding question of quantum gravity, i.e., the search for a framework reconciling general relativity with quantum mecha nics. This involves using a broad set of tools from quantum field theory, information theory and general relativity to better understand the quantum structure of spacetime, especially in the context of the AdS/CFT correspondence. In addition, I am also interested in universal quantum information theoretic properties of quantum field theories and their implications.
