My current research interests lie in the field of gravitational waves from binaries of compact objects. I work on using data from the gravitational-wave observatories to identify the nature of the compact objects they originate from and to test the validity of General Relativity - two of the major scietific investigations made possible by the advent of gravitational-wave astrophysics. I am also involved in constructing accurate gravitational waveform models that incorporate physical effects like tidal heating, eccentricity etc.
