10:20 to 11:00 Kedar Damle (TIFR, Mumbai, India) Monomer Percolation

The monomers of a maximally-packed dimer model on diluted lattices display some unusual percolation phenomena. These have consequences for the structure of zero modes ("flat bands") of some tight-binding models on such lattices, as well as consequences for low-energy excitations in quantum antiferromagnets. These phenomena and their consequences are the subject of this talk.
