Abstract
I will review how data from different cosmological probes can be used to test and infer fundamental properties of the standard model of elementary particles. Will be given some examples on how parameters of specific models can be constrained as well as how one model can be selected over others. Focus will be given on the data analysis, its capacity and limitations, as well as the computational methodologies to better explore it.
