It is of interest to find criteria on 2d conformal field theories which are holographically dual to large-radius gravity in AdS_3. In this talk, I will discuss various quantities computable for supersymmetric 2d CFTs which give criteria as to whether or not the CFTs admit a dual large-radius gravity description with L_string << L_AdS. I will explore these using symmetric orbifolds and the D1/D5 system as test cases.
