Abstract
Inspired by simple notions from geometric probability and probabilistic geometry, I will discuss a few questions in dynamics, perception, and action that include the physics of a coin toss, machine classification algorithms for faces and places, and optimal throwing and navigation strategies in uncertain environments. Time permitting I will also raise some psychophysical issues associated with mathematical intuition and learning particularly in the context of geometry and probability.
