Abstract
Hydrodynamics is a well-established field with a venerable history. In this talk, I will focus on two foundational aspects of hydrodynamics which have received renewed attention in recent years. 1) Do the equations of hydrodynamics even make sense? and 2) How do we describe long-wavelength phenomena that hydrodynamics is supposed to describe but fails to?
