Abstract
Closed string field theory is a second-quantized formalism for string theory. It demands a choice of string vertices that involve solving certain geometrical structures on Riemann surfaces and their moduli spaces. In this talk, I demonstrate that determining hyperbolic string vertices of Costello-Zwiebach is a conformal bootstrap problem in the context of Liouville theory. The consequences are explored.
