Abstract
I will present the results of a recent numerical study on the statistical properties of the dynamics of neutrally buoyant particles in developed turbulence. The focus is on the effects the particle finite-size and shape. The new findings will be placed in the context of the last two decades of numerical and experimental studies on the topic. While the first part of my presentation will be devoted to the acceleration properties the second will examine the particles angular dynamics. Current open problems and directions of future research will be discussed.
