This workshop is organised in connection with the Gravitational Wave Open Data Workshop (GWODW 2026) by the LIGO-Virgo-KAGRA (LVK) collaboration. This will include a series of lectures, where participants will learn the basics of gravitational-wave (GW) data analysis using state-of-the-art tools from the LVK collaboration. The workshop will feature a set of lectures delivered by ICTS researchers, followed by hands-on tutorials based on GWODW 2026. The workshop is open to students currently residing in Bengaluru.
Eligibility Criteria : This workshop is intended for postgraduate and graduate students interested in GW astronomy. A small number of highly motivated senior undergraduate students may also be considered. Participants should have a basic understanding of Python programming. No travel or accommodation support will be provided.
