We are proud to share the news of Prof. Chandan Dasgupta (Simons Visiting Professor, ICTS-TIFR) being awarded the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) Distinguished Fellowship for 2019.
SERB Distinguished Fellowships are awarded to superannuated eminent senior scientists actively involved in research.
Prof. Chandan Dasgupta works on theoretical and computational studies of the collective properties of complex systems consisting of a large number of interacting objects. Problems that are currently under investigation include the dynamics of dense systems of self-propelled particles and phase transitions in non-equilibrium systems.
