Sandip TRIVEDI, faculty at Tata Institute of Fundamental Research and a member of Program Committee of International Centre for Theoretical Sciences - TIFR, has been awarded the 2010 prize in Physical Sciences by Infosys.
Sandip TRIVEDI has been recognized for finding an ingenious way to solve two of the most outstanding puzzles of Superstring theory simultaneously: What is the origin of the dark energy of the Universe? Why is there no mass-less scalar particle?
