ICTS faculty member Sthitadhi Roy, together with Sumilan Banerjee (Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru), has been awarded an Advanced Research Grant (ARG) of the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF).
Prof. Roy’s research interests span condensed matter physics and statistical mechanics, with a broad focus on the out-of-equilibrium dynamics of interacting quantum many body systems in the presence and absence of disorder.
Through this project, Prof. Roy and collaborators aim to understand the dynamics of quantum information measures, such as entanglement, in measurement-unitary hybrid quantum dynamics. In particular, they will seek to understand if measurement feedback
can be used to manipulate quantum information in a useful and controllable fashion on the state-of-the-art quantum computing platforms.
ICTS congratulates Prof. Roy on this well-deserved achievement.
