The International Centre for Theoretical Sciences (ICTS) of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), a premier research center (an Autonomous, Grant-in-Aid Institution of the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India and a Deemed University) is looking for highly motivated and self-driven individuals for the below post under the unreserved category at its Bengaluru Campus. The required qualifications and experience are given below:

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

• Full time Diploma in Civil Engineering (from a recognized University/Institute with an aggregate of 60% marks).

• Knowledge of use of personal computers and its applications.

• 2 years experience in a similar job profile.

Age - Maximum 28 years (Age relaxation as per rules)

Job Profile:

• Supervision of civil & public health activities during construction works

• Supervision of maintenance jobs of all civil works in buildings & roads by departmental staff

• Preparation of bills, preparation of estimates, tendering job, documentary work related with civil works contract etc.

Desirable:

• Knowledge of government tender process, estimation & tender preparation.

• Knowledge of AutoCad for preparation of civil drawing is desirable.

The selected candidate may have to work in round-the-clock shift duties if required.

General Information:

1. The above post is tenable at ICTS, Bangalore.

2. Appointment for the above post will be initially for one year which may be extended depending upon the individual’s performance and the requirements of the Centre. The selected candidate(s) will be required to join immediately.

3. Prescribed age should not exceed as on January 1, 2023 for the above post.

4. Post-qualification essential experience will be considered until the application deadline i.e 23 February 2023.

6. No TA/DA will be paid for the outstation candidates who will be shortlisted for attending the recruitment process.
