International Centre for Theoretical Sciences (ICTS) of TIFR invites applications for the post (one) of Project Administrative Officer. The individual should be highly motivated person having ‘hands on’ experience in dealing with administrative functions. The selected candidate shall be offered consolidated salary based on qualification and experience. The contract will be initially for a period of one year and may be further extended depending on the performance.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Graduate degree with minimum of 60% marks aggregate, from a reputed institution
- Diploma in Management
- Familiarity with computers, especially office applications, and usage of internet. Candidates who are comfortable working with both windows and linux based machines will be preferred.
- Minimum five years of service in grade pay 4200/4600/4800 level or equivalent grade
Desirable Qualifications & Experience:
- Post Graduate degree in Business Management from a reputed institution;
- Work experience in dealing with administrative matters viz. Government of India rules & procedures, in a medium /large sized organization, preferably an academic/research institution
Job Profile:
This job involves performing the following tasks, as assigned by the Director from time-to-time: handling general administrative work of the Centre including maintenance of the personnel records of all employees and their general welfare; rendering administrative support to various events and activities of the Centre; compiling periodic reports about these activities; handling administrative tasks related to setting up of procedures at the new campus and any other task assigned by Director ICTS.
Upper Age limit: 35 years (as on 1.7.2015)
Tenure: Initial appointment will be for 1 year which may be extended upto 3 years depending upon performance and requirement of the Centre. It is a temporary appointment.
Location: ICTS campus, Bangalore
Salary will be commensurate with the candidate's experience, and qualification. The selected candidate will be required to join immediately.
