Dr. Brato Chakrabarti is looking to hire a Project Assistant with a strong computational background to join the LivingFluids (https://bratochakra.github.io/) group at ICTS, Bengaluru. The position is available to start immediately. Potential research questions may include (but are not limited to) ciliary mechanics, dynamics of active polymers, or fluid-structure interactions.
Qualifications:
1. BE/BTech/MTech (in Mechanical/Chemical/Civil engineering), MSc in Physics, Engineering Physics, Applied Mathematics, or related fields.
2. Background in numerical analysis and fluid dynamics.
Pay:
As per the Govt. of India-DST norms.
Position details:
Initially for 1 year, extendable up to 2 years based on mutual agreement.
