The essential criteria are given below:
1. Clerk Trainee (Purchase & Stores)
Essential Qualification:
-
B.Com/BBA Graduates from a recognized university/ institute.

Knowledge of typing and use of personal computers and applications.
Desirable Qualification:
-
PGDM or MBA with specialization in Logistics & Supply Chain Management
Freshers with computer & typing knowledge can apply for this position.
Nature of Training: Training in the areas of Government Procurement Procedures and Stores management.
2. Technical Trainee (Laboratory)
Essential Qualification:
-
Science Graduate from a recognized University/Institute in Physics.

Knowledge of using personal computers and applications.
Desirable Qualification:
-
Prior exposure to Arduino, basic electronics, or instrument interfacing.

Prior exposure to 3D printing or prototyping.
-
Ability to work with lab equipment, maintain records, and follow procedures carefully.

Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and workflows.
-
Ability to build or learn simple mechanical assemblies.
-
Willingness to travel to vendors near ICTS or to Bengaluru city for fabrication and procurement-related work.
-
Comfort with basic administrative tasks, including billing and related coordination.

Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a hands-on attitude.
Freshers with relevant skills are preferred.
Nature of training: Training on setting up labs, managing and maintaining the equipment and instruments for experiments, procuring materials, and processing vendor payments.

The above posts are tenable at ICTS, Bangalore

Appointment for the above posts will be initially for 06 (six) months, which may be extended up to 01 (One) year depending upon the individual’s performance and the requirements of the Centre. The tenure, however, could be extended for another year if felt necessary after review and the requirements of the Centre.

This trainee scheme is purely a facility for on-the-job training provided to individuals. Selected candidate(s) will be required to join immediately. Trainees would not have any claim for any permanent or temporary appointment in the institute either during or after the training period.

The prescribed age should not exceed as on 01 July 2026 for the above post.

Leave: Entitlement of leave will be as per the Institute leave rules for Trainees.

The training period could be truncated for any reason with a notice of one month on either side.

The selection process will consist of a skill test (computer-based)/trade test and a written test. The qualifying marks (cut-off marks) should be 60% or more in the written test. Skill/Trade test will be of a qualifying nature i.e. Qualified/Not Qualified. The cut-off mark for the skill/trade test is 60%. A merit list of candidates will be prepared based on marks in the written test.

Working hours for trainees shall be similar to the regular employees but they would have to work on Saturdays and holidays, as per the requirements of the department/section. They will not be eligible for any OT allowances.

The Center reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates for the recruitment process to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement. Mere fulfilling the essential and desirable qualifications and experience will not entitle an applicant to be called for the recruitment process. More vacancies may also be filled through this advertisement. The center reserves the right not to fill any/some posts herein advertised.
