ICTS

1. An RSVP form was sent on 11 February to the participants who had registered by 11 February at 10:30 am. The form had options for choosing one of the following ICTS shuttles.
   1. 9:00 AM from Sandal Soap Factory Metro Station
   2. 9:05 AM from IISc Main Gate
   3. 9:15 AM from BEL Circle Bus stop
   4. 10:00 AM from IISc Main Gate
   5. 12:00 PM from IISc Main Gate
2. Those who chose to use the shuttle provided will receive a confirmation by email. If you have not received a confirmation, we cannot guarantee that there will be space for you on the shuttle. Please be at the boarding point (see the map) at least five minutes before the respective departure times.
3. Those who couldn’t be accommodated in the above shuttles can use public transportation to reach Shivakote (which is 1.5km from ICTS). ICTS will send buses to Shivakote (Google Map Link to Shivakote Bus Stop) at 9:15 AM, 11:00 AM, 11:30 AM and 12:00 PM. Once you reach Shivakote, please call the ICTS reception +91 80 4653 6000; they will let you know when the next shuttle will reach you.
   • BMTC Bus No. 266A, 266C, 266J: these buses will bring you directly to ICTS. Ask for the Kalenahalli stop; do not get off at Shivakote.
   • BMTC Bus No. 266, 267: these buses stop at the Yeshwantpur Circle Bus Stop (10 minutes walk from Sandal Soap Factory Metro Station) and opposite the IISc main gate, and will bring you to Shivakote, from where you can take one of the above shuttles.
   • BMTC Bus No. 407, 405: these buses will bring you to Shivakote, please get off and wait for one of the above shuttles.
4. Shuttles will also be available from ICTS to take you back to IISc. The timings of these shuttles will be displayed at the venue.

Vehicles brought by guests will have to be parked outside the institute premises. Construction work is currently underway on the road outside the institute. Please consult the Institute Security before parking your car there.

The activities connected with the Open Day will be confined to the foyer area of the Chandrasekhar Auditorium and the adjoining lawns on one side and the reception and library at the other side. The institute security has been instructed not to permit guests to visit other parts of the institute.

Arrangements for participants to buy their breakfast, lunch and snacks at ICTS have been made at the venue. Participants are encouraged to carry a water bottle which can be filled at one of the water stations at the venue.

In addition, there will be volunteers to answer the participants' questions on careers in science and mathematics. You can also talk to people working on ICTS programs and outreach, and visit the ICTS library.

The following short movies will be screened in the Chandrasekhar Auditorium. Food and beverages are not allowed inside the auditorium.

ICTS merchandise will be available for purchase during the Open Day from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
