I am interested in exploring the various aspects of low-dimensional systems transport properties using open and isolated system formalisms.  Further, I am interested in understanding the utilization of the interesting transport properties to design efficient devices. In my PhD, I contributed in this direction. Recently I am specifically focussing on:

(1) Understanding transport properties from the perspective of non-hermitian transfer matrices.

(2) Transport in disordered long-range hopping models.

(3) Environmental effects in quantum transport.
