Research Summary:
I investigate the physics of accreting central supermassive black holes in distant galaxies and their impact on star formation in their hosts, using multi-wavelength data. I use imaging and spectroscopy at frequencies ranging from radio to gamma-rays for this purpose. I study the systematics of the observed properties of the bipolar synchrotron-emitting jets of plasma that are launched by these black holes, and their relationship with the nuclear environment of the accreting black holes, as well as  their host galaxy properties.
