T Senthil is a Professor in the Department of Physics, Massachusetts  Institute of Technology. His research seeks to develop a theoretical framework for describing the physics of novel quantum many particle systems by combining phenomenological modeling of experiments with abstract theoretical ideas and methods. His research interests include non-fermi liquid metals, quantum spin liquid insulators, continuous Mott transitions, interacting topological insulators, non-Landau quantum criticality and phenomenology of cuprate and related materials.
