Abstract
In this talk, we will study many-body open systems both within and outside the Markovian model. I will show how the locality structure can be used to derive precise bounds on both the speed of information transport through these systems: I will illustrate how this information transport can change drastically compared to simple Markovian prediction when going to non-Markovian models. Finally, I will show how locality and information transport structure constrains the circuit complexity of open quantum dynamics. Finally, I will overview the challenges in understanding open systems beyond the Markov approximation and understand their dynamical and mixing properties.
